Modernize your software delivery and cloud infrastructure to scale with the business.
The cloud promises speed and flexibility, but without the right practices it often brings rising costs, fragile releases and constant firefighting. When infrastructure can’t keep up with the business, every deployment carries risk and engineering time goes into keeping things running instead of moving the product forward.
Our cloud costs keep growing, but we don’t have enough visibility or control to understand where the money is going.
Releases still take too much manual work. Every deployment needs too much coordination, and even routine changes feel riskier than they should.
Development, QA, and production environments keep drifting apart, so something that works in one environment can still fail in another.
We don’t have enough visibility into production, which makes incidents harder to detect, diagnose, and resolve quickly.
Too much engineering time goes into keeping infrastructure running, responding to incidents, and fixing operational issues.
We’re growing, but our cloud environment doesn’t scale predictably with traffic, data volumes, or workload demand.
Different teams manage cloud infrastructure in different ways, and we need clearer standards, ownership, and governance.
We’re introducing more data- and AI-intensive workloads, but we’re not sure our current cloud setup can support them efficiently.
We need a more predictable operating model for cloud – one where cost, reliability, security, and release performance are actively managed rather than reviewed only when something goes wrong.
We partner with ambitious organizations to solve complex problems, craft meaningful experiences, and deliver measurable results.
Brightree modernized its legacy platform with KMS, boosting scalability and enabling an $800M acquisition.
Addepto (a KMS Technology company) partnered with a leading aviation organization to improve airport stand assignment operations and optimize how aircraft are allocated across airport infrastructure.
KMS helped a global risk management firm modernize development, saving $3M and driving $100M in revenue.
From assessment to ongoing operations, we guide your cloud and DevOps transformation through three structured phases: Discover, Develop and Drive. Each one builds on the last and produces tangible deliverables your team can use right away.
Cloud governance framework
Cost and ROI analysis
Reference architecture for the target environment
Deployed cloud environment (compute, network, data)
Version-controlled infrastructure code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Automated pipelines across dev, QA, and production
Security checks built into the release process
Defined reliability targets
Ongoing cost reporting and optimization
Continuous monitoring and security patching
Ongoing management of infrastructure, monitoring, and cost governance
Cloud & DevOps transformation spans cloud architecture, automation engineering, security, and reliability operations. KMS integrates these disciplines within the Integrated Squads Model, governed by measurable service-level objectives and proactive cost optimization.

Standardizes environments across plant-floor and enterprise systems.
Provides real-time visibility into production and equipment system health.
Aligns infrastructure spend with actual production workloads.
Logistics platforms operate mission-critical systems that cannot tolerate unplanned downtime.
Delivers real-time insight into system health and performance across operations.
Provides continuous monitoring, incident management, and operational support.
Keeps environments consistent and rapidly recoverable.
Routine updates ship faster and with less risk, since repeatable automated pipelines replace manual coordination and manual testing.
Cloud spend gets rightsized to actual usage instead of accumulating unmanaged, freeing up budget that would otherwise go to waste.
Systems absorb peak traffic and growing workloads without the capacity limits that hold back legacy infrastructure.
Security and compliance checks are built into every release, so evidence for standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS is produced continuously instead of assembled after the fact.
Dedicated engineers take over monitoring, incident response, and day-to-day maintenance, freeing internal engineering time for development instead of reactive support.
A modernized cloud foundation removes the infrastructure and performance constraints that stall analytics and AI work, so those initiatives can scale.
A Cloud Assessment and DevOps Maturity Assessment identify infrastructure gaps, delivery bottlenecks, security exposure, operating cost, and technical risk.
The outcome is a prioritized roadmap supported by a Cloud Governance Framework, cost and ROI analysis, and a reference architecture for the target environment — giving teams a clear basis for deciding what to address first and where investment will have the greatest impact.
Phased cloud migration and replatforming cover applications, infrastructure, and data environments, with dependencies, sequencing, and target architecture defined before cutover.
Infrastructure is provisioned through Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, creating repeatable environments across development, QA, and production while reducing configuration drift and manual setup.
Manual deployment workflows are replaced with automated CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, and production, supported by Infrastructure as Code and automated testing.
Security is embedded into the same delivery process through continuous code scanning, secrets management, least-privilege access controls, and Policy-as-Code — making security and compliance part of every release rather than a separate check at the end.
Dedicated DevOps Engineers, CloudOps Engineers, and SRE resources are integrated into the client team through the Integrated Squads Model.
The operating model covers reliability targets and SLOs, continuous monitoring, incident response, security patching, infrastructure management, and cost governance. FinOps practices add active usage reporting, resource rightsizing, Reserved Instance and Savings Plan optimization, and budget alerting so cloud spend stays aligned with actual demand.

A Cloud Assessment evaluates the infrastructure itself — scalability, cost-efficiency, and security readiness.
A DevOps Assessment evaluates process maturity — CI/CD gaps and delivery practices — and produces a tailored improvement roadmap.
Many engagements begin with both assessments to establish a complete picture before defining a roadmap.
The engagement follows three phases:
- Assessment & Strategy: defining gaps, technical risks, and a prioritized roadmap.
- Build & Automation: deploying cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, migrating and re-platforming workloads, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating DevSecOps.
- Operations & Optimization: handing off to dedicated SRE and CloudOps resources, with established SLOs, continuous monitoring, and active FinOps reporting.
Priorities are established through the initial Cloud Assessment or DevOps Maturity Assessment, based on business value, technical risk, and operating cost.
The Assessment & Strategy phase produces a Cloud Governance Framework, a TCO/ROI analysis, and a Reference Architecture that inform the sequencing of the roadmap.
KMS offers three team models: a Shared Team, distributed across projects and fully managed by KMS with 24/7 availability; a Dedicated Team, fully assigned to a single client with a dedicated Service Manager and eight Service Desk agents available around the clock; and a Mixed Team, combining shared L1/L2 support available 24/7 with L3 and subject-matter expertise provided by a dedicated engineering team.
Through FinOps practices: active cost-usage reporting, Reserved Instance and Savings Plan optimization, resource rightsizing, and budget alerting, owned by a dedicated FinOps Analyst as part of the Operations & Optimization phase.
Security is embedded at every phase rather than treated as a separate workstream: continuous code scanning through SAST tools such as SonarQube, secrets management through HashiCorp Vault and cloud-native key vaults, least-privilege identity and access management, and Policy-as-Code through Open Policy Agent, which codifies requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS directly into IaC-provisioned environments.
No. Engagements typically begin with a Cloud Assessment or DevOps Assessment of the existing environment, and the roadmap is structured around what should be retained, replatformed, or rebuilt, rather than a full rebuild by default.
“KMS collaborates so well with us that they are an extension of our internal team. The code they produce is always well written with good test cases and on-time delivery. If there’s a need for a newer technology, they research and quickly produce a POC to see if it meets our needs.”
“Unlike other development firms, KMS Technology’s specialization in working with Private and Growth Equity software companies sets them apart.”
KMS helped a global risk management firm modernize development, saving $3M and driving $100M in revenue.
Addepto (a KMS Technology company) partnered with a leading aviation organization to improve airport stand assignment operations and optimize how aircraft are allocated across airport infrastructure.
