KMS Technology Receives 2013 Pacesetter Award in Atlanta
ATLANTA, KMS Technology, a global firm specializing in software development outsourcing services, today announced it earned an Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter Award for the second year in a row. The annual award honors the top 50 fastest-growing privately-held companies in the region. To qualify for a Pacesetters award, companies have to be privately owned, based in the 20-county metro Atlanta area and not a subsidiary of another company.
Companies had to be established in the first quarter of 2010 or earlier and experienced a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent, with revenues between $1 million and $300 million in 2012.
KMS offers outsourced software development and testing and IT services for independent software vendors (ISVs) and technology-driven companies from all industries and sizes.
“To win a Pacesetter award for two consecutive years is a real morale booster and we couldn’t have done it without our great employees. Last year KMS ranked at Number 5 out of the 50 fastest-growing companies. Over the past 3 years, we have increased our revenues by over 1000%. But our number one goal is to help our clients gain competitive advantage by bringing new products and upgrades to market quicker. Exploiting the latest technologies in software development, mobile and cloud computing achieves that kind of success, said Josh Lieberman, President of KMS Technology.
Agility is key when dealing with client relations, the reassignment of roles, and the flexibility to adjust accordingly to the pace of projects. These attributes sustain long-lasting partnerships. “KMS’s team allows us to get high-quality products to market on time. When business needs dictate a change of direction, we can change and adjust quickly and deliver,” said Alan Horton of Health Market Science, a leading supplier of solutions that address data management, regulatory compliance and market intelligence, and a KMS client.
