Our Success in Software

is a national accounting and intelligence technology company, empowering customers to succeed by automating their bookkeeping and reporting.

Ceterus was in need of an enhanced and optimized database to quickly generate accurate reports. Due to a lack of internal bandwidth and resources, the company recognized its outdated consumer-facing websites and mobile applications were affecting the user experience.

KMS helped Ceterus roll out a new iOS application with an updated user interface, which was recognized as the New App of the Year in 2018. Also, by implementing an automated testing framework, Ceterus experienced $300k+ in overall cost savings, increased go-to-market speed, and decreased defect leakage.

With complex business requirements across 5 global offices, HotSchedules faced challenges with the alignment of multiple workstreams. Growing bandwidth constraints resulted in slower go-to-market speeds, which ultimately impacted business operations.

With KMS as a partner, HotSchedules implemented a CI/CD system that accelerated the software release cycle and simplified the production support process. With improved business productivity, collaboration, and go-to-market speed, HotSchedules scaled with its growing customer base across 26 countries. Their updated platform success led to an acquisition of Marlin Equity Partners in July 2019.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions

accelerates decision making and improves results across the entire policy lifecycle with fast, sophisticated data analytics and technology solutions.

LexisNexis had limited internal knowledge of the cloud and needed a partner to help them adopt the cloud journey. The company’s architecture was not scalable, leading to the inability to keep up with growing customer demands. With a lack of a proper test automation strategy, it was difficult to meet the high demand for customization of web and mobile applications.

By leveraging KMS Technology’s expertise, LexisNexis has been able to take full advantage of modern technologies, fill in knowledge gaps to help migrate to the cloud, build a microservices architecture, and implement a streamlined automation strategy. Additionally, LexisNexis now has proper processes and architecture in place that can scale as the business grows.

Kelley Blue Book

is the leading vehicle valuation and information source. Trusted by both consumers and the automotive industry, KBB provides the most heavily-referenced values in the industry.

KBB was deploying twice a week, but needed to be able to deploy on-demand without extensive regression testing. Additionally, the company had committed to AWS and microservices architecture but needed help completing a seamless transition.

KBB is now 100% migrated to the cloud, has adopted a microservices architecture, implemented effective agile practices, and undergoes regular maintenance strategies that comply with the IT enterprise architecture. After working with KMS, KBB has increased product time-to-market and instilled business confidence with a low product team attrition rate.

is a leading provider of an enterprise-class eCommerce platform that helps catalogers, retailers, direct marketers, and brand manufacturers sell goods and services online.

Without an automation framework in place, Kibo was experiencing an inefficient testing process that stretched over 120+ days. This led to slow releases, defect leakage, a need for updated tools, and bottlenecks during the integration process.

The KMS team worked to implement regression testing, quality assurance, and a 12-day automation framework. Additionally, KMS helped create an internal system for Kibo to track support processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce ticketing backlog—which resulted in a higher customer satisfaction rating during the NPS surveys.
