Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Buu Nguyen, KMS Director of Technology, was invited to speak at the launching event of Visual Studio .NET 2010 in Hanoi, Vietnam on Tuesday April 13th 2010. The event took place at Union Hotel, Hanoi, and attracted about 400 attendees. During this whole-day event, Buu hosted 2 sessions, one about ASP.NET 4.0, ASP.NET AJAX 4.0 and ASP.NET MVC 2.0 and another about C# 4.0 and PLINQ. The event was also filled with other sessions about various new technologies coming out of Microsoft such as Silverlight 4.0, SharePoint 2010, WCF Data Services and Windows Azure.
After the event, on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, Buu continued to speak to about 40 architects and developers at Microsoft Vietnam’s office in Hanoi. During this presentation, Buu discussed best practices for building highly scalable .NET web applications and addressed solution architecture questions raised by the audiences.
“I had a lot of pleasure speaking at these events, attending sessions hosted by other speakers and meeting many .NET developers in Hanoi. C# 4.0, PLINQ and the whole ASP.NET 4.0 suite are among the most significant technologies in this latest release of the .NET framework and I am pleased to have been working with them since their pre-release versions and now have a chance to share that knowledge to other developers,” said Buu Nguyen, KMS’ Director of Technology.
