KMS Hosts Behavior-Driven Development and Automation Testing Using Cucumber

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a provider of offshore product development services, delivered a public seminar on the theme “Behavior-Driven Development and Automation Testing Using Cucumber” to the IT community in Ho Chi Minh City, on Saturday, November 16, 2013. Presented by Mr. Trong Bui, Mr. Trung Quoc Nguyen and Mr. Thong Nguyen – Senior QA Engineers at KMS Technology, the seminar shared practices in developing scenarios and approaches to collaborative software development.

In the seminar, KMS experts covered the following:

  • BDD and Agile development practices
  • Automation Testing using Cucumber
  • Advantages and disadvantages of BDD/ Cucumber
  • Developing Cucumber-based automation framework

The event attracted more than 60 testers and project managers working in various renowned IT companies in HCMC. Many interesting concerns and issues regarding Automation Test Approach were discussed during the seminar and the extended Q&A session. In addition, KMS experts also demonstrated practical solutions for testing based on Cucumber.

“This event aims to share with QA engineers the knowledge of Automation Testing Approach and Behavior-Driven Development with Cucumber. After this seminar, I hope QA engineers will adopt this knowledge and have more alternatives when selecting a test approach for their project,” said Trong Bui, Senior QA Engineer at KMS Technology.
