KMS Hosts Public Seminar about Test Automation Practices

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a provider of offshore product development services, hosted a public seminar named “Framework for Automation Testing – Practice Sharing from KMS” to the IT community in Ho Chi Minh City, on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Presented by Mr. Duong Phan, QA Architect, and Mr. Vu Duong, Engineering Manager, the seminar aimed to share practical solutions in developing test automation framework. Many interesting concerns and issues regarding to test automation implementation were discussed during the course of the seminar. Among the top discussions are multiple data-driven method, automation engines/plugins, return on investment (ROI) calculation and automation metrics. The event attracted over 60 testers and project managers working in variety of IT companies in HCMC.

“Automation testing now becomes a critical part of overall quality assurance practices. Building test automation framework, leveraging open-source / commercial automation testing tools to boost productivity, is challenging and requires a lot of hard work and thoughts. We hope that our sharing session can help testers with more knowledge and practical tips and be more confident in building an effective automation solution for their projects,” said Vu Pham, Director of Delivery at KMS Technology.
