KMS Sponsors BarCamp Saigon 2013 in HCMC

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a provider of offshore product development services, announced that the company was proudly one of the Gold Sponsors of the BarCamp Saigon 2013, held on the July 7, 2013 at RMIT University Vietnam. There were more than 1.600 participants, mostly junior developers, IT students and other fields, attending the BarCamp Saigon 2013 to network with passionate technologists around HCMC.

BarCamp Saigon was created in HCMC tech community since 2005. Organizers of the event only provide the space and the people from the community are the presenters. That means the quality of the event depends on the community. The agenda of BarCamp Saigon 2013, as every year, was decided in the morning of the event. It was decided by participants and presenters altogether. All presenters submitted their topics and participants got the chance to vote. The topics with the most votes got to have the biggest rooms. The agenda of BarCamp Saigon 2013 can be found here. Today, BarCamps are held in over 350 cities across the world. BarCamp Saigon started in 2008 and there have been 6 in Saigon so far.
