KMS Hosts Public Seminar: JavaScript – No Longer A “Toy” Language
SEMINAR UPDATES ATTENDEE WITH LATEST TRENDS AND APPLICATIONS OF JAVASCRIPT
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a provider of offshore product development services, held a public seminar, “JavaScript – No Longer A “Toy” Language” on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event attracted more than 100 web developers and front-end developers from many companies. Presented by Mr. An Nguyen – Senior Software Engineer at KMS Technology, it demonstrated three main parts:
- Overview of JavaScript in 90’s: A simple client-side scripting language
- Stacks JavaScript has been involving in recent 4 years
- Significant updates from ES6/7
In the beginning, with a small ice-breaker game, the participants were warmed up and introduced to one another. During the seminar, a demo which was built on Electron, Redux, Node.JS and Socket.IO, was also introduced to the audiences for better visualizing the fast changes in JavaScript. The hands-on practice session received wide praise from the audience and helped them experience the information provided by Mr. An in a practical application.
“Up-to-date knowledge of JavaScript is necessary since this language has become dominant compared to others.
