KMS Delivers Four Technology Mega Trends

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a provider of offshore product development services, announced that Mr. Phong Bui – Director of Technology at KMS Technology, delivered a talk about “Four Technology Mega Trends of Software Development” on November 6, 2013 at the Faculty of Information Technology, HCMC University of Science.

At the seminar, Mr. Bui addressed four mega trends, which include Mobile, Social Media, Cloud Computing and Big Data, and then explored each trend’s popular technologies and solutions. The talk attracted over 50 senior students and lecturers. The extended Q&A session about IT careers advice helped students better understand the IT job demands, as well as expectations on graduates by software development companies.

“This event is a part of my syllabus aimed to share with students and lecturers what the industry is doing. Through this event, I hope that students will adapt their knowledge, and lecturers may adjust what they are teaching by reflecting the trends in software technology. It is also an exciting opportunity to strengthen the relationship between industry and academia,” said Dr. Vu Nguyen – Director of Software Engineering, KMS Technology and Lecturer, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science, Vietnam National University – HCMC.
