KMS Provides Relief Aid To Vietnam’s Central Flood Victims
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a global technology firm, has launched a fund raising campaign for flood victims in the central of Vietnam. Central Vietnam is suffering from a historical flood, the biggest within the last 100 years with many deaths, missing and injuries reported.
Within two weeks, the company received over 50 million VND in monetary contribution in addition to clothes and in-kind support from staff and management team. All contributions were delivered to Not Lang Charity Group, established by the Forum of Vietnamese Economics Masters, who will directly visit the flooding area. It is agreed that all monetary will be turned into commodities before reaching flood-hit families.
“Helping vulnerable people has become our responsibility toward the society. Although the contribution is modest, it presents our share with the flood victims during this hardest time,” said Hang Nguyen, HR Manager for KMS Technology.
