KMS Technology Finishes Its First Internship Program
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, a global technology firm, concluded its first internship program with RMIT University and HCMC University of Technology on Thursday, June 17, 2010. The three-month program received eleven students coming from the two universities. During the period, some interns took part in building an important internal system at KMS while the others worked in R&D projects supervised by KMS. The program has received great feedback from the interns. During the program closing ceremony, interns expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work in a professional environment, receiving mentoring and training from senior staffs at KMS and the participation in interesting and challenging projects.
“We’re rolling out an internal system which has been chiefly developed by two interns this month. During the pilot of the system, many KMS employees were impressed with the level of sophistication and ease of use of the system. In general, I am very impressed with the outcomes of the R&D intern groups who conducted research around the three development platforms, iPhone, Google App Engine, and Windows Azure. I wish these students luck in the rest of their studying and I hope many of them will choose KMS as their employer after graduating,” said Buu Nguyen, KMS’ Director of Technology.
Based on this success, KMS Technology is planning to kick off another internship program toward the end of this year.
