KMS Holds Test Case Point Analysis Method Seminar

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – KMS Technology, provider of offshore software development services, successfully conducted a seminar, “qEstimation – Test Estimation using Test Case Point Analysis method” last Saturday, June 9, 2012. This 3rd public seminar organized by KMS Technology in 2012 has been delivered by Vu Pham, Delivery Director at KMS Technology.

Software testing is a crucial activity in software application development lifecycle to ensure quality, applicability, and usefulness of software products. No software can be released without a reasonable amount of testing involved. According to the previous industry reports, software testing consumes about 10-25 percent of the total project effort, and on some projects this number may reach 50%. This seminar discussed the method to estimate size and efforts of testing that can be used as key inputs for making investment decisions, planning, scheduling, project bidding, as well as deriving other quality metrics, such as productivity, defect rejection and density for project planning, monitoring and controlling.
